Our Work with UNICEF Zimbabwe, Papua New Guinea and Benin

The BEMPU TempWatch is being utilized by 3 UNICEF country offices to support Kangaroo Mother Care and increase newborn survival at the community level. After piloting the intervention in 2017, the Papua New Guinea National Department of Health and UNICEF have partnered to scale the TempWatch (locally renamed "Bebi Kol Kilok") countrywide as a part of the new Saving Lives, Spreading Smiles initiative, supported by the Australian Government. In 2018, UNICEF Zimbabwe and UNICEF Benin have also begun providing the device to vulnerable newborn beneficiaries.
